Austin Trumanns Steel, one of the UK’s leading
steel stockholders and distributors has opened a state of the
art operation in Brighouse, West Yorkshire to house its steel
profiling business.
The Brighouse division specialises in flame cutting, profiling
and T Bar splitting, and has already secured work from fabricating
and engineering businesses throughout the UK and Ireland.
Graeme Hill, managing director, Austin Trumanns Steel, commented,
“We decided to create a dedicated profiling division at
Brighouse following an increase in customer demand. Our profiling
operation had previously been in Dewsbury, however the new site
at Brighouse allows us to manage our steel profiling business
much more efficiently.”
The 17,000 sq.ft. Brighouse division of Austin Trumanns Group
employs eight people.
Austin Trumanns Steel supplies a wide range of general steels
and strip products throughout the UK and Eire is part of the
£200 million turnover Murray Metals Group of Companies.
